Catherine (Cath) Mascal (she/her) has decades of experience treating and teaching orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapy. She helps her patients attain their functional goals by combining manual skills with therapeutic exercise and emphasizing education and self-management.  She moved from California and joined the ThriveAgain team in 2021.

Cath is a British-born and trained physical therapist who moved to California in 2001 and in 2002 completed a year-long orthopedic residency at the University of Southern California where she obtained a postgraduate certificate in orthopedic physical therapy. Since that time, Cath has been passionate both about teaching and continuing her own education. She has attended numerous postgraduate courses and served in various teaching roles at USC, California State University in Sacramento, and in clinical settings.

Cath has specialized in pelvic floor physical therapy since 2016. She has completed the full Herman & Wallace pelvic floor series as well as other advanced pelvic floor courses. She has also served as a teaching assistant on several Herman & Wallace courses and is passionate about integrating her extensive orthopedic knowledge to provide holistic care for her pelvic floor patients. Cath plans to obtain her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification in 2022.
