Dr. Ri Sayed (she/her) is a seasoned orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapist with over a decade of experience helping patients heal and return to the activities that matter most to them. She joined ThriveAgain in April of 2021, bringing with her a wealth of clinical experience and in-depth specialized training. Dr. Sayed graduated from WrocławMedical University in Wrocław, Poland with a Diploma in Medicine in 1996, and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2008. She is also fluent in Arabic and Polish.
Dr. Sayed has worked in a variety of outpatient settings treating patients with orthopedic and post-surgical dysfunction. She utilizes a variety of manual techniques to help patients achieve maximal results, including muscle energy, myofascial release, integrated manual therapy, and visceral manipulation. Dr. Sayed became certified as a Dry Needling Practitioner in 2013, giving her another powerful tool to release persistent tension, relieve pain and restore function.
Dr. Sayed has completed the full pelvic floor course series through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and is experienced in treating pelvic floor problems for all genders. She is passionate about helping patients overcome pelvic pain, incontinence, and pregnancy and postpartum-related issues.
