Dry needling works by placing a small needle within a muscle to affect change in the muscle, related nerves, and connective tissue.

After placing the needles, our therapists may utilize electrical stimulation at a comfortable intensity to directly target nerve signaling and create significant and lasting symptom relief. Dry needling can provide significant benefits for pain, muscle activation, and bowel and bladder problems. Depending on your symptoms and preferences, needles can be placed along the spine, or in symptomatic areas throughout the body, including the pelvic floor. As with all of our treatments, dry needling is always done in the context of collaborative decision making and ongoing consent.
